Ellen J. (Pendleton) Dew

Ellen J. (Pendleton) Dew, 71 of Marlborough died on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Good Samararitan Medical Center in Brockton, MA after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Boston, MA the daughter of the late James W. and Mary J. (Tibbets) Pendleton. She worked for Digital as a Secretary for many years.

Ellen was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Robert A. Dew in 2020.

Ellen is survived by her 2 sons, Robert Dew of Marlborough, Stephan Dew and his life partner Tara Richards of Billerica, her grandson David Childers of Marlborough, 2 sisters, Mary Brasier and her husband Walter of Millis, Patricia Craffey and her husband Arthur of Boston, her brother Alexis “Butch” Pendleton and his wife Joyce of NY, her long time friend, Paul Fiola of Ashby and many nieces and nephews.

She was also predeceased by 8 brothers, James, Richard, Ronald, William, David, Michael, Frank and Kenny.

Ellen was a long time member of the Order of Eastern star participating in local, state and national events for more than 30 years.  She was also an avid  camper and was an active member of the Good Sams Club for many years.  She loved to craft and had done many hobbies over the years including sewing, crocheting, and embroidery going to craft fairs over many years.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 4-7 pm in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough, MA.

A private burial will be had at a later date.
