William H. “Bill” Crosson, 91, died Thursday morning after a long period of failing health. He was the husband of Joan (Dekan) Crosson to whom he was married for 37 years. He was born in Camden NJ, the son of the late William and Martha (Gardiner) Crosson and lived many years in New Jersey before moving to Marlborough 26 years ago.
Mr. Crosson graduated from Cornell University in 1951 and was a member of the Naval ROTC, subsequently serving in the navy during the Korean War and as an instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy.
After discharge from the navy, Bill worked as an actuary for the Equitable Life Insurance Company in New York City, and as a consulting actuary, before retirement.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son Raemond Crosson and a sister, Shaula Wright, both of N.J.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic all funeral arrangements are being scheduled
