Robert J. Goocher

Robert J. “Gooch” Goocher died unexpectedly Tuesday March 3, 2020.  He is survived by a daughter Shannon Goocher of Hudson NH. He was predeceased by his daughter Cassandra Rose in 2007. He was born in Framingham the son of Robert J. Goocher of Marlborough and the late Linda Oberg. Besides his daughter and father he is survived by his girlfriend Rebecca Plouffe of Lancaster and many extended family and friends.

Gooch was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. Aside from motorcycles, he loved tattoos, heavy metal music with Gwar being his favorite band. He was known for being a straight shooter with a big heart. Most of all, Gooch will be remembered as a loving compassionate soul with a great sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by all.    

Visiting hours will be held on Monday March 16, 2020 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Short and Rowe Funeral Home (www.shortandrowefuneralhome.com) , 95 West Main St. Marlborough.
