Praksithe (Liacho) Kristo

Praksithe (Liacho) Kristo, 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 30, 2021.  She was preceded by her husband Alqi Kristo who passed away in 1995. Praksithe is survived by her three children, Diana Kristo Tolka and her husband Viron of Marlborough,  Ardi Kristo and his wife Anila of Marlborough and Liri Kristo Drishti and her husband Kuitim of Paris France, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was born in Dardhe, Albania, the daughter of the late Vangel and Eftalia (Stefani) Liacho. She married Alqi Kristo, writer and publicist, when she was 19 and they had a great marriage together. She moved with her son and daughter’s families to Marlborough, MA in 1995. She played a pivotal role in raising her three children and six grandchildren, who loved her dearly. Nena Paci was the matriarch of the family, always cheerful and optimistic, giving advice to and caring for all. She loved to read novels, watch her soap operas, cook and bake, knit blankets and clothes for her grandchildren and great grandchildren, friends and neighbors.

Ms. Kristo was preceded by her sister Nora Dalani and is survived by brother Sotir Liacho of Michigan and his family.

She will be missed profoundly by her large family, relatives and friends.
