Patrick J. Lyons

     Patrick J. Lyons, 58, of Marlborough passed away on 10/24/2021 at The Reservoir Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Marlborough, MA.  His family would like to thank the caregivers at The Reservoir for his care during his final days.

     He was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to his natural parents Manley and Mary Lyons.  From the age of 1 year, he joined his foster family, the Regers, with whom he resided until adulthood.

     Throughout his life, Patrick was a fan of classic TV shows from the late 60s to the early 80s, particularly of police dramas and comedies.  He had an impressive DVD collection and would spend hours watching re-runs of his favorite shows.  His other interest was for classic cars and would love to discuss the differences in model years.

     Patrick is survived by members of his foster family, Michael and Charlene Reger of Westminster, Karl and Noriko Reger of Douglas, Mark and Linda Reger of Westborough and Steve Reger of Natick as well as many nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his foster parents Francis and Doris Reger and a brother, Paul Reger.

     He is also survived by members of his natural family, brothers Manley and Robert Lyons, of Maine, and sisters Marie Lyons of Maine and Linda Vincent of Ohio.  He is predeceased by his natural parents as well as by his siblings Oliver and Phyllis.

     A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Marlborough.  An hour of visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.  in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home (www.shortandrowefuneralhome.com) 95 West Main St. Marlborough.
