Marilyn Perez

Marilyn Perez Fuentes, 52 of Northborough, MA passed away at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Worcester, MA on Thursday, June 29, 2021, after an unexpected illness.

She was born in Corozal, Puerto Rico on January 13,1969, The daughter of Mariano Perez and Flor Maria Fuentes. She moved from Puerto Rico to Northborough, MA where she resided for over 10 years.

Marilyn worked as an office manager for a dental practice for over 30 years. She was a hard worker.

She was happily engaged for 5 years to Fernando Santos.

Marilyn is survived by her 2 sons Sergio Mercado his fiancé, Atiya Thomas and Mariano Mercado, 2 grandchildren, Jaedein and Daniel; her fiancé Fernando Santos, her two sisters Norma and Nancy Diaz, her brother Amiel Perez along with a host of many aunts uncles and cousins.

Marilyn was a loving and caring person who would always be there when you needed. On her free time Marilyn loved to knit blankets. She enjoyed spending her free time with her loved ones. She will always be remembered for her smile and kind heart.

A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St, Marlborough, MA. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson St., Marlborough.
Calling hours will be held prior to the Funeral Mass from 9-10:30 a.m. in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough, MA
