Jose M. Sabino Bermudez

Marlborough – Jose M. Sabino Bermudez, 70 years old of Marlborough, MA passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, after ongoing struggles with his health.

Sabino was born in Santo Domingo, DR, the son of the late Ovidio and Clara Sabino Bermudez. He retired from the U.S. Army as Staff Sergeant after 31 years of faithful and honorable service. Jose is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rosa M. Sabino, 9 children, 28 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Sabino enjoyed telling stories about his years of service, spending time with family and dancing.

Sabino's family shares this scripture in remembrance of him and his beliefs, “Protect me, O God, for I have taken refuge in you” Psalms 16:1.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 4pm-6pm at Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main Street, Marlborough, MA.

A private Burial will be held at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. with full Military Honors.

Jose M. Sabino Bermudez, de 70 años de Marlborough, MA falleció el martes 2 de febrero de 2021, luego de continuas luchas con su salud.

Sabino nació en Santo Domingo, RD, hijo del fallecido Ovidio y Clara Sabino Bermudez. Se retiró del Ejército de los Estados Unidos como Sargento del Estado Mayor después de 31 años de servicio fiel y honorable. A José le sobreviven su esposa de 31 años, Rosa M. Sabino, 9 hijos, 28 nietos y 4 bisnietos.

Sabino le gustaba contar historias sobre sus años de servicio, pasar tiempo con la familia y bailar.

La familia de José comparte esta escritura en memoria de él y sus creencias: "Protégeme, oh Dios, porque en ti me he refugiado" Salmo 16: 1.

El horario de atención será el miércoles 10 de febrero de 2021 de 4 pm a 6 pm en Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main Street, Marlborough, MA.

Se llevará a cabo un entierro privado en el Cementerio Nacional de Massachusetts en Bourne, MA. con todos los honores militares.
