G. Herbert "Herb" Johnson

G. Herbert Johnson Jr, 92 of Hudson, MA died on Sunday, May 21, 2023 after a short illness.

Herb was born in Marlborough, MA, the son of the late G. Herbert and Theresa (Pietras) Johnson Sr.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954 during the Korean Conflict. He was a long-time member of the Marlborough Country Club before moving to Cape Cod in 1994. He and his wife Nancy were members of Pocasset Golf Club for many years before relocating to Hudson in 2022.

Herb is survived by his wife of 71 years, Nancy C. (Adams) Johnson of Hudson, MA, his 2 daughters, Brenda Bracken and her husband Mike of Marlborough, April Johnson of Franklin, his son, G. Herbert Johnson III and his wife Deborah of Franklin, 4 grandchildren, Kerri Bracken of Clinton, Kevin Bracken and his wife Alexandra of Ayer, Amanda Borges and her husband Manuel of Sutton, Taylor Brillon and her husband Adam of RI, 3 great grandchildren, Joseph Peltak Jr., Luca Borges, Lennox Borges.

He was predeceased by 3 brothers, Clyde L. Johnson, Raymond A. Johnson, Loren G. Johnson and his sister, Linda Johnson.

Services are Private.

Friends and family are welcome to attend his Burial which will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 12:45 p.m.in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA
