Erika K. (Waldmann) Wilkinson

Erika K. Wilkinson 96 of Hudson died peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Beaumont Healthcare in Westborough.

Erika was born in Nuremberg, Germany, and was the daughter of the late Karl A. and Dorothia (Honig) Waldmann.

She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Robert P. Wilkinson in 2008.  In addition to her husband, Erika was predeceased by her 2 children, Peter and Heidi Wilkinson.

Erika was an avid gardener and still mowing her lawn at 95. She was a member of the Hudson Woman’s Club and the Eastern Star. She was very active in the community as a member of the Patient & Family Advisory Council and the Woman’s Auxiliary at Marlborough Hospital, and also enjoyed working on the Hudson Election Committee.

She is survived by her close friends, Bill and Sue Fischer of Marlborough, Maryalice McCormack of Hudson, her brother-in-law Donald Wilkinson of NC and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Noon in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough, MA. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson, MA.

Visitation will be held prior to her Funeral Service from 10-Noon also at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Marlborough Hospital General Fund.
