Dorothy K (Ketchum) Barry

Dorothy Kay Barry 90 of Franklin died on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Medway Country Manor in Medway, MA surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Redbank NJ, the daughter of the late Earl and Grace (Van Brunt) Ketchum.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Gordon C. Barry in 2008.

She was a member of the first United Methodist church of Marlborough.  Dorothy loved to read, garden and the ocean.   But her greatest joy was her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Dan Barry and his wife Janet of Hudson, Bonnie Wessell and her husband Doug of Franklin, Marianne Toole and her husband Bernie of RI, Virginia Murtagh and her husband Bill of Marlborough and Patrick Barry and his wife Jenn of RI, 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 nieces and a nephew.

Dorothy was also predeceased by a brother Teddy Ketchum, sister Marjorie and brother in law Michael Sottille brother and sister in law Frank and Catherine Barry, 2 nephews and a niece.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 11 at 10:30 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church, 52 Church St, Marlborough, MA
