Doris G. (Thivierge) Rosko

Doris G. Rosko, 89, passed away peacefully at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northborough on February 26, 2020, surrounded by her family.

Born in Marlborough, MA on April 22, 1930, Doris was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Georgianna (Lanoue) Thivierge.

Doris was predeceased by her beloved husband of 68 years, Michael J. Rosko Sr., who passed in 2018.

She was an avid birder, gardener and lover of the outdoors.  You could find Doris tending to her flower beds, designing her landscapes or planting a vegetable garden in the yard. Countless memories at family gatherings and summers in York Beach Maine will forever remain dear to us all. 

Doris was a member of the former St. Mary’s Parish in Marlborough, and after its closing the Immaculate Conception Church. 

She is survived by her two sons, Michael J. Rosko Jr. and Peter Rosko; her three daughters, Paula Dunn, Janice Gibson and Laurie Sherman; a brother, Richard Thivierge; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother and cherished grandmother.  She will be deeply missed.
