Our funeral home is conveniently located just west of downtown Marlborough with ample on-street parking, handicap accessibility, and updated facilities. In 2019, the Short Family purchased the John P. Rowe Funeral Home INC., a family-operated business since 1921, William R. Short & John P. Rowe, Sr. started their respective funeral homes and set a high standard for their children to live and work up to. We continue to work hard everyday to live up to those high standards set by Bill & John.

John was extremely accommodating, compassionate and understanding. I was in out of state on Christmas Eve, or my father passed away. He took the time from his family to meet with us so that I could fly out and meet my family for Christmas. Discuss everything I feel is unheard of the day of the funeral, he knocked it out of the park. Everything was well organized, structured well placed the flowers were appropriate. I would highly highly recommend this company to anybody that’s unfortunately in this position of losing a loved one you won’t find somebody better than John was and handling my sisters and I.
Heather & John I can’t thank you enough for everything you did for our family when our mom passed away. I especially want to thank you for the love & care you showed our mom. John, you were so caring and respectful & you & Heather helped us make mom’s services so beautiful. Heather, you were there through it all and the love & care mom got from you brought so much comfort.
